Jaime Del Castillo is Managing Director of Informacion y Desarrollo (Infyde) and Professor of Applied Economics at the Basque Country University. Jaime has EU-wide experience in the fields of innovation and technological development, in the design and setting-up of territorial development strategies and has extensive knowledge of the procedures and instruments of European regional development policy. He has worked for a number of years as process consultant and specialist for the European Commission in respect of its Regional Innovation and Technology Transfer Strategies and Infrastructures (RITTS) and Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS). He has also worked on several occasions for the OECD, BID, CEPAL (United Nations) and for regional and local governments in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.
